Diyetin en temel noktası sağlıklı beslenme ve yediklerimize ve içtiklerimize dikkat etmektir. Herşeyin fazlasının zarar olduğu gibi fazla kiloda insan vücuduna zararlıdır. Olabildiğince fazla yemekten kaçınmalıyız. Tabiki az yemek yemek ile diyet yapmış olmayız ve zayıf kalmış olmayız. Yemek yemiyerek zayıf kalmamız mümkün fakat bununla beraber gelebilecek hastalıklar içinde hazırlıklı olmamız gerekir.
